As you may have noticed, I’m drawn back to this basic composition, and my “white period” rages on. The other thing I’m into is taking lighting effects totally out of context.The lighting here is from a shot taken at midday under a Mangrove tree, standing in about waist deep water, in my backyard. (Yep I live on the waterfront) So a combination of full sunlight, full shadow and half shadow from the tree, and a whole lot of uneven light bouncing back up from the water.Also an attempt to work a bit looser and make it more like a painting on a photo…..although I admit I’m not quite abstract just yet. :P
